When faced with getting things done ask yourself this question – Do you care?

Jonathon Mead posts on Zen Habits:

Do you care about it? Be honest with yourself. Do you really care?

If you don’t care, allow that to be okay. At least you’re acknowledging the fact that you don’t care. Now you know that it’s not a water-tight productivity system you need to get you motivated. What you need is work that you give a damn about.

Focus on that last sentence – What you need is work that you give a damn about.

If you are in a slump, unmotivated, dis-engaged then find something you “give a damn about” and start doing it!

We all have things in our jobs and personal lives that we have to do that we don’t care much about. That will always be the case (i.e. expense reports.) But that’s not the point.

We are taught very early on that we need to conform to our work to earn a paycheck.

My challenge to all of you is to get your work to conform to your passions! I will give you a 100% money-back guarantee that you will be more productive and start getting things done.
